An electric car giant has made its way to Eatontown.  Incredibly high gas prices, even though they are going down, really has people thinking about ditching their gas vehicle and going electric.

There have been many electric vehicles on the market for quite some time. No one has yet to challenge a specific company at what they are there able to do as far as range and technology.

I am one of these electric car owners.

To say that I was excited that a service center and dealer are coming to the Jersey shore, was an understatement.

I’m a Tesla owner.

Just like their vehicles, their service is unique.

Weather is a warranty issue, flat tire, or any other service that needs to be done to your vehicle, they will usually bring tech to you.

This process is a lot easier when there’s a home base nearby.

Even with the popularity of Tesla growing in the garden state, there wasn’t a service center nearby.

Now we have one.

A few weeks back I ended up with a screw in my back tire. I was able to quickly take it to a local tire center to get it quickly plugged.

I opened up my app to see where the closest service center was and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the Tesla service Center in Eatontown was finally open.

Not only did they take care of my tire, but he took care of a few warranty recalls that surfaced when they checked my car status.

How to initiate Tesla Service

For me, it was tire and wheel, then swap tire.  Once you submit the description and upload a quick photo, they will determine whether or not you are going to them or they are coming to you.

I thought for sure I was making a drive outside of Philadelphia or New York.

The Service Center is fully operational.  There was one Model Y sitting in a small room for people to see.

The way the front of the building looks, I'm assuming there is more to come in terms of "showroom" and a Tesla showroom isn't really what you would expect.

In my past experience, those cars are just great for you to go in and see firsthand.

Then you'll have the cars to demo outside.

Then, if you're lucky, there may be a car available to purchase on-site, but that is very rare.  You'll still have to go through the process. and most like wait for your vehicle.

According to an article from David Willis from the App, this location will provide a charger for public use.

If it was there, I didn't see it.  I do applaud the company for getting the service area up and running because this is a game changer.
