THANK YOU! Our first ever 94.3 The Point  'BIG DIG' was a success!

Throughout the summer we had listeners qualify for a shovel on our FREE app. Randomly, 94 lucky listeners won a shovel, and those same 94 listeners all won prizes at Donovan's Reef in Sea Bright.

People won T-Shirts, beach towels, lottery tickets, beer mugs....and Yes, someone actually won a Bud Light Sea-Doo! Congratulations to Brian from Wall Township!

THANK YOU to Donovan's Reef for hosting and THANK YOU to Bud Light for bringing awesome prizes.

Of course, a special THANK YOU to all the listeners who came out! The weather could have been better but it did not stop us from having FUN. I already can't wait for our 2nd annual 'BIG DIG' next summer. I can see this becoming an annual, maybe even a quarterly event!

STAY UPDATED! Please download the 94.3 The Point App if you haven't already, we are always doing fun events and giveaways!

Sea Bright Make The List? Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.

Keep reading to see if your favorite beach town made the cut.
