A publication recently listed the cutest town in each state in the country, and the cutest town in New Jersey is...not a Jersey Shore town.

When it comes to cute towns, I personally think Monmouth & Ocean Counties corner the market. There is Spring Lake, Avon by the Sea, Point Pleasant, Manasquan, Ocean Grove and the list  goes on and on.

So when we hear that none of those towns, or the dozen or so of other cute Shore towns that might have come to your mind, topped the list, it begs the question of which New Jersey town did.

It turns out Purewow's choice for cutest town in New Jersey is the Middlesex County town of Cranbury. Cute town, no doubt about it. I've been there and it's adorable. And the people are really nice, too.

But I can't help but think that we have several Shore towns equally as cute. Maybe next time, those towns will get some love. or maybe we can get a top 3 in each state to see just how close our favorite Shore town came to topping the list.

If you were asked to pick the cutest town in New Jersey, which would you choose? Let us know in the comment section.
