The Jersey Shore will enjoy temperatures in the 70's toward the end of the week, but as you may have already guessed, there's a but.

Let's start with the good news. Our meteorologist Dan Zarrow says we are finally going to break 70 for Friday and Saturday, so it will finally feel like spring. But...just how long will it feel that way?

Well, according to Dan, there is a storm that will follow this warm weather and it could bring rain, and only rain to the area Sunday night into Monday, and behind that the temperatures will drop again.

So how low do we go early next week? Dan says there's a chance the temperatures will only drop off to the low 60's, but the possibility does exist for it to drop into the 40's once again. It's still a little too early to tell.

So, I guess we head into the warmth of a few actual spring days with the knowledge it may not be around for long. but after all we have been through with March and April weather, I'm sure we're all willing to take baby steps in the right direction.

Here's how the daytime highs look in the next few days. a high of 50 today (Tuesday), tomorrow we'll get a high of 53, Thursday will hit the mid 60s with rain, and then 70s for a high Friday and Saturday.
