Recently, the most famous TV show set in every state was determined. Which show do you think was named for the Garden State.

This is actually a pretty easy one, since there was only really one TV show set in New Jersey that I could think of off the top of my head. That's not altogether true, however. After a couple of minutes of thinking about it, a handful came to mind.

Here are some TV shows set in New Jersey I thought of...

Boardwalk Empire

Jersey Shore

The Real Housewives of New Jersey

Point Pleasant (a supernatural show that aired about 15 years ago)

There are plenty more I'm sure and if you've thought of any, please let us know in the comment section.

The one that we didn't list, but we're sure everyone thought of was the one that Best Life named the most famous TV show set in New Jersey, and that of course was The Sopranos, the HBO smash that had us all on the edge of our seats from 1999-2007.

The show was set in North Jersey, with Tony Soprano living  in North Caldwell. And of course, we all remember the drive on the Turnpike in the iconic show opening. The last Soprano's episode aired June 10, 2007.
