Did you ever wonder what a state well known for it's complaining would name as the most hated thing about the state? One publication did, and we have the results.

The data about the most hated thing in each state in a recent report was compiled by a dating app and ranked and we now what the most hated New Jersey thing is...or do we? First, let's look at some of the hated things in New Jersey that didn't top the list.

Traffic. New Jersey is almost a synonym for traffic. If you live here, you know it happens every day and everywhere. The only variable is how bad the traffic is that day. And if you only visit New Jersey, then you're part of the reason it's busy that day.

Money. Everything about the Garden State seems to revolve around it. More than most other places. Taxes, tolls, real estate prices, food prices and the price of, well, everything. And the prices keep heading north.

Attitude. None of us have it (lol) but we are constantly bombarded with people who do. Everybody's in a hurry. Everybody's schedule is more important than yours. You're basically in everybody's way. If you don't believe me, just wait two seconds after a light turns green before you go. You'll see what I mean.

But none of these topped the list, according to the report. Do you know what did top the list? Jellyfish.

That's right. According to this data from just a couple of years ago, the biggest gripe about the Garden State is jellyfish.

I mean, if a day on the boat or at the beach goes by without me seeing a jellyfish, I'm not shedding any tears. But the most hated thing in New Jersey. I'm not on board with this one. But come to think of it, I do jump right back on board when I see a jellyfish. Hmmm.
