Thoughts Are With Shore Towns As We Brace For Another Storm

Are we really going through another storm? How many times is Mother Nature going to test us? We are trying as hard as we can to move forward from Sandy, and it seems like there's something to worry about with the forecast every week or so.

Those two words "coastal flooding" make the hair on the back of our necks stand up and make our hearts thump nervously. And it seems like we're hearing those two words way too frequently. Actually, hearing it once is way too frequently.

As people in flood prone areas in Brick and Toms River and all over the Jersey Shore are holding their collective breaths, hoping to be spared any more flooding, we want you to know that all of us around Monmouth and Ocean counties are holding our collective breaths as well for you.

The Jersey Shore certainly deserves a break. Hopefully we'll all get one in the next 48 hours or so.
