Yes, The 81st Toms River Halloween Parade is on for today so get ready!

And those who are running the parade have organized something super cool for this year's parade.

There will be a sensory stimulation quiet room inside the Employee Lounge of Town Hall that parade attendees can go to take a quick break if they are feeling overwhelmed or are experiencing sensory overload.

The room will be supervised by a member of the Toms River Mayor's Advisory Committee on Developmental Disabilities during the entire parade.

I love that it is becoming the norm for accommodations to be made for people with all types of social and physical capabilities.

Everyone deserves the chance to celebrate. They just need to do it in their own way.

So from everyone here at 94.3 The Point, have a Happy Halloween!
