This year will be the 81st Toms River Halloween Parade 2019 which is organized by the Toms River Volunteer Fire Company No.1

So let's get you ready for an epic yet scary evening!

So here is everything that you need to know....

TRICK-OR-TREATING...... 

Officials suggest that if you choose to go Trick-or-Treating on Halloween to go early so you do not conflict with the parade. There will be no curfew in Toms River on Oct. 31st but Chief Mitch Little suggests to be home by 9 PM.

Many of the surrounding towns including South Toms River, Pine Beach and Beachwood has trick-or-treaters go out on Wednesday, October 30th.

Berkeley will host trick-or-treaters on Thursday, October 31st.

If you need to know when...

The Parade is scheduled to take place on Thursday, October 31st from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM but if for any reason it needs to be postponed, it will take place on Friday, November 1st at 7 PM. (Main and Washington Streets will close at 5:30 PM on the day of the parade)

If you are a participant or organization looking to get involved.... 

All must register the day of the parade at the Fire House at 26 Robbins Street between 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Wednesday, October 31st. There is no registration fee upon signing up but donations are always welcomed.

If you have questions about the float contest...

All vehicles in the parade MUST be decorated and all prizes will be awarded by division -- which includes farthest traveled, youngest, and oldest -- at the Ocean County Administration Building. Make arrangements to pick up float participants off of Hooper Avenue.

If you are wondering where to go to see the parade...

The parade will start at the Toms River Shopping Centre on the corner of Highland Parkway & Route 166 (Main St.).  The spectacle will travel down Main Street, will turn left onto Washington Street and end on the corner of Washington Street and Hooper Ave. (All spectators need to be south of the Highland Parkway)

Rules when it comes to claiming spectator space....

Those planning to watch the parade can only place chairs along the route on the day of the event only.

Where spectators should park...

It is suggested that you park at the Ocean County Parking Garage located on Madison Ave. Any cars parked on the side streets must be at least 1,000 feet away from the corner of the Parade. DO NOT park in the Toms River Centre. ** Do your best to carpool!
