Our active military members and veterans are some of the hardest working people on this planet and they deserve to be recognized.

That is why I am happy to announced that The 2019 Ocean County Veterans Day Parade will be happening on Monday, November 11th in downtown Toms River.

The parade will officially began at 9:45 AM and will include military vehicles, elected officials, civic groups, first responders, local high school marching bands and vintage cars!

The route is going to begin at the Toms River Shopping Center on Route 37 and head down Main Street and then onto Washington Street.

There will be a ceremony at Toms River's Town Hall located at 33 Washington Street following the parade where speakers and honored guests will place a wreath on the Veteran's monument.

Unfortunately, there is no rain date. If the parade is canceled due to inclement weather, the public will be notified by 5:00 PM the day prior.

I hope you plan to attend this Jersey Shore event that honors a group of people that are the most deserving of the praise.

We will keep you updated on the happenings of this parade!

And let us to be the first to say HAPPY VETERANS DAY!!
