Gas prices continue to kill the inner lining of our wallets and when you add the cost of car maintenance, upkeep and tolls, working from home is looking better and better.

According to NJ.com, the tolls on the Garden State Parkway and the New Jersey Turnpike is increasing for the third f***king year in a row. All price changes will go into effect on January 1st, 2023.

The increase in toll cost is happening for a few reasons: inflation, global supply chain, construction projects and a higher volume of traffic on our roadways.
“The budget anticipates about 12 million more (toll) transactions in 2023 than there were in 2022,”said Tom Feeney, a Turnpike Authority spokesman according to NJ.com. “Transactions cost money to process. When the number of transactions increases, the cost to process them grows.”
Soon, I swear, air will cost money.
