There are two types of "DJs." First there are those like me who talk on the radio. Granted, we're not jockeying discs, but it does require some skill. (Really, very little skill.) Just kidding. But don't ever call radio hosts "DJs." We're "on air personalities." No, we're just DJs. That's what I write on my tax return as an occupation.

Then there are DJs who who create musical masterpieces as they mix tracks, beats and even other songs into completely different material. It's an art and it is not easy. Whether pre-produced or live, it's a lot harder than what I do. Every year we are reminded of just how awesome DJ Earworm is when he releases his "United State of Pop."
