They have a new name and a new look, but the same fun for you and the family! The Jersey Shore BlueClaws return with a brand new season at First Energy Park in Lakewood. So much fun and after losing out last season, baseball fans are ready to head out to the ballpark this spring.

I cannot wait to head back and see some ballgames this spring and summer. The BlueClaws plan to start the season at about 30% capacity, which will be about 3,500 fans for a home game, which I think will be fine. Hopefully, as the season goes on, maybe those percentages will increase. But I miss the smell of the grass, the taste of those hotdogs, and the sound of the ball ..... we welcome back the BlueClaws to Lakewood in May. It is the BlueClaws 20th Anniversary Season! and 92.7 WOBM has been there for every season! One of my highlights during the first 20 years, getting to be the Public Address Announcer at the Ballpark (pictured above)

The Jersey Shore BlueClaws first home game is coming up on Tuesday, May 4th at 7:05 pm as the BlueClaws take on the Hudson Valley Renegades, the New York Yankees affiliate. So an exciting home opener for BlueClaws and Yankees fans!

Stick around after the ballgame opening night, May 4th, for fireworks after the game presented by Jenkinson's Boardwalk! Fun before, during, and after the game as we kick off the new season.
