We've spent all week talking about how unseasonably warm it's been this week, so of course in typical Jersey fashion we may see snow this weekend.

Yes, the roller coaster that we call New Jersey weather may be speeding us through daytime highs in the 50's today and then wind us toward some potential snow by this weekend, more specifically Saturday.

So, what's the story on this possibility of weekend snow? Our Chief Meteorologist Dan Zarrow says there is going to be a change back to seasonal (cold) temperatures by Friday and that could set the stage for a Saturday storm.

Dan also says that with winter storms it's hard to have a detailed forecast until the potential snow is 48-72 hours away, so we'll know much more tomorrow and even more than that by Thursday.

Dan does say there is the potential of significant accumulations (maybe 6 inches) in parts of the state, so stay tuned as the picture becomes more clear. At least if it does happen, it's on a Saturday...and the kids will love it.

Stay with us and we'll bring you all the details as they become available.
