What a Mess in Point Pleasant Beach

The biggest lot near the rides on the boardwalk is still torn up in shreds.

Well it doesn't look like the timing on this project is working out very well. The big municipal parking lot at the corner of Arnold and Ocean Avenues, right across from the area where most of those visiting the boardwalk would normally park, is ripped up, apparently due to the dredging of the lake.

There are mounds of dirt/mud all over the place and no paved parking. I would venture to say the snow and rain could be ruining any shot at progress.

With nicer weather coming soon and people who have been stir crazy wanting to get their kids out of the house, there is going to be a whole lot less parking available close to the rides for what looks like quite a while.
