Where to Get Free Soft Pretzels on National Pretzel Day

Sunday is National Pretzel Day. Get the spicy mustard ready because two chains in the area are serving up free soft pretzels in celebration.

If you stop by Philly Pretzel Factory in Neptune, Eatontown, Howell, Toms River, Bayville or Manahawkin on Sunday, you'll score free dough. Pretzel dough, that is. Plus, the first 100 people in line at each of these locations will win a pretzel a day in May.

Auntie Anne's Pretzels in Eatontown and and Toms River is offering up a free Original or Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel this Friday through Sunday. There's one catch. You must download the Auntie Anne's "My Pretzel Perks" app on your phone and register by 11:59 p.m. on April 23. Show the app at your Auntie Anne's to get your free pretzel. By the way, I downloaded it on my phone and it look about 5 seconds. It's easy to find in the iTunes Store or Google Play.
