A fundraiser tonight at Porta in Asbury Park and a GoFundMe are ways to help support Shaun Chenoweth after this tragedy.

23-year old Shaun Chenoweth was tragically struck by a train last month in Long Island and was rushed to a trauma center with extreme life-threatening injuries. He has been fighting for his life in the ICU and Monmouth County residents are being asked to please come together for Shaun.

Porta in Asbury Park is doing its part tonight (2/22/19) from 10 pm - 1 am: For every Margherita Pizza sold, $5 will be graciously donated to Shaun's road to recovery.

According to his aunt, who set up the GoFundMe, Shaun lost tremendous amounts of blood, suffered internal bleeding, a fractured pelvis, and deep lacerations on his side and back that will require skin grafting.

Shaun is loved tremendously by his family and he has a long road to recovery with medical bills overwhelming his parents. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
