If bleach is part of your cleaning process, there are some things you should never do while cleaning with bleach.

We want you to stay safe and healthy, so we wanted to share with you 5 mistakes you shouldn't make while using bleach, according to Reader's Digest...

Not down the drain. If you have a septic system, you could kill bacteria the system needs to work. And bleach could mix with other things in the drain that could affect the air in the house and even lead to the pipe bursting.

Bleach on metal. Don't use bleach to clean copper or stainless steel. It could cause corrosion.

Not diluting enough. Experts say do not use more than one cup of bleach per gallon of water.

Too much laundry bleach. Too much bleach in the laundry can impact the strength and quality of the fibers in the clothes over time.

Never mix with other cleaners. Here are just some of the things you shouldn't mix bleach with...vinegar and ammonia. Mixing with either can cause serious health issues.

During these times, it is especially important to take extra care to not put yourself in any type of health risk. Stay safe and stay healthy.
