Free Guac At Chipotle For Today; Qdoba Asks Why Not Everyday?!

Now this fruit can be used for many different concoctions with one of the most popular being......drum roll please....GUACAMOLE!

Now yes, the price for avocadoes and therefore the price to provide guacamole has continued to increase but there are still deals that you can take advantage of.

So to celebrate, Chipotle Mexican Grill is offering free guacamole for TODAY ONLY.

The only catch is that you have to place an order on their mobile app or their website to get your free side of guacamole! Last year, this promotion supposedly "broke the internet," and I definitely see why.

Now Qdoba is taking this a step further: they want guacamole to be free of charge EVERYDAY.

This is probably due to the fact that the Mexican chain just recently had to start charging for guacamole at multiple locations due to the influx in price so they even started a petition on Change.org to call attention to it!

"Adding guac to your meal should be free for everyone, everywhere. It's that simple. Why should a customer be penalized for making a meal more flavorful?" said Qdoba on the petition. "It may make dollars for our competitors, but it makes no sense to us. We're proud to announce that our guac is free."

....that is....it WAS free. But we see and appreciate where you are going with this.

So I guess the moral of the story is to take advantage of Chipotle's deal for today because the price of avocados and guacamole may only go up from here.
