Another Harsh Facebook Punishment Gone Too Far? [PHOTO/POLL]

There seems to be a new trend of parental discipline called "Facebook embarrassment." However, some feel this picture crossed the line.Two weeks ago a mother posted a picture of her to the daughter with a red X over her mouth and the words,

“I do not know how to keep my mouth shut. I am no longer allowed on Facebook or my phone. Please ask why. My mom says I have to answer everyone that asks.”

Recently, this picture surfaced on Facebook.

A visibly upset daughter was forced to hold this sign for a picture that her mother then posted on teen's Facebook page.

Some feel these are the lengths that parents are forced to take in this digital age to keep their kids in line. Others feel this sort of punishment does more harm than good.
