Asbury Family Forced to Give Up Their Dog
Our Point Pet of the week was surrounded by a family that loved him, but their landlord wouldn't let them keep him.
Meet Taz, a 5-year old Terrier mix who was surrendered by his Asbury Park family because their landlord wouldn't permit him to live inside the house. The family wanted to build Taz outdoor accommodations so that he could stay with them, but it was not possible.
Taz is shy at first but once he gets to know you he is a total snuggle bug. He enjoys walks on the beach and will take every opportunity to go for a dip in the water. Taz loves hikes in the park or just some good old-fashioned play in the yard.
This precious dog isn't picky about his toys and games -- he loves them all! And Taz is smart and knows 'sit,' 'paw,' and 'speak.' This special dog has been lucky enough to have lots of overnight visits with his favorite volunteer friends who have nothing but wonderful things to say about him.
Taz is house trained, walks well on leash, and is a perfect gentleman in the home. And he loves to give kisses : ) AND...Taz likes other dogs!
