Asbury Park Tops Another List

Asbury Park is no stranger to awards and honors in the past few years, and now it can add another one to the list.

Redbook compiled a list of best staycation spots in each state in America, and when it came to the Garden State, they chose to bestow the honor of best staycation spot to Asbury Park.

In giving Asbury Park the honor, they made specific mention of the Asbury Hotel, The Stone Pony, the boardwalk, Pop's Garage and The Empress.

We all know around here that Asbury Park is not exactly a secret anymore. It is one of our favorite hotspots, and, if you haven't already, all it takes is a visit or two to the historic city to fall in love with it all over again.

And with summer around the corner, the best part of the year is still to come. That beautiful beach and that gorgeous boardwalk, plus all those great restaurants are just some of the reasons New Jersey residents and tourists alike are falling in love with Asbury Park.
