There are certain things that have become real summer traditions at the Jersey Shore, and right up there among them is Brick Summerfest.

I had the great pleasure of hosting last night's awesome event  featuring the incredible Brian Kirk & The Jirks. The weather was terrific and the show was fantastic, which is no surprise if you've ever seen a Brian Kirk show.

It was so great to see so many of our friends out for a summer night on the Metedeconk with great food, and wonderful entertainment. It was well worth the weather delay wait. Last night was a beautiful one.

And the great news is there is still more summer fun on the way. Whether you've been there for every show, or haven't gotten to see one yet, you don't want to miss the next one.

The 25th year of Brick Summerfest continues with the rescheduled Boat House Row show. It will take place next Thursday, August 15th at 6:30pm at Windward Beack Park, according to the Brick Township website.

So, thanks to everyone who came out last night, and we hope to see you next time!
