There is no doubt that the opioid epidemic has gotten tragically worse within the past few years.

However, on a more positive note, more and more people and organizations are making it their mission to start the discussion of how to fix this problem and educate others on the preemptive measures that can be taken to help save lives.

The CFC Loud N Clear Foundation is hosting a Free Community Narcan Training on Thursday, October 10th at CFC's headquarters located at 250 Drive in Farmingdale.

This free community event is open to the public and is designed to teach anyone who is willing to learn how to administer Narcan which is the emergency treatment for a suspected opioid overdose.

You will be given the knowledge which could one day save the life of a family member, friend or neighbor.

If you do plan on attending, please RSVP by emailing ckeresztes@healingus.org.
