Chipotle Releases Guacamole Recipe

Chipotle revealed the recipe yesterday for their incredible (and simple) guacamole, which got me thinking...

What other local "secret" recipes would be good to have?

There's honestly one recipe I thought of, and that's for the Voo Doo Shrimp at Drew's Bayshore Bistro in Keyport. The sauce is liquid crack. It's a ridiculously good, and probably my favorite bite to eat at the Jersey Shore.

I know there's Worcestershire sauce, cream, scallions, grape tomatoes, obviously shrimp, and the yummy pillows of jalapeno cornbread it all sits on...but the rest...legit Voo Doo!

Other recipes I'd want: the donuts from Uncle Dood's Donuts in Toms River, the popovers at Fromagerie in Rumson, or the coal-fired rosemary garlic wings from Zoni's in Red Bank!

Honestly, even if I had the recipes, I doubt it would matter, because food never tastes the same at home as it does in the restaurant! I'm not about to recreate a Picasso and pass it off as my own, am I? Plus...at home you have to clean up. Ehhh.

That said, what local bites would you LOVE to have the recipe for?
