What movie did you love as a teen that you'd love your own child to see?

With technology changing so much, it's a wonder my boys can even concentrate on a movie from the 80s or 90s....what with the use of PAY PHONES, lol. Of course, all they have to do is look at the cars in a movie and they can tell what year the film was made.

But when I think back to the movies I loved when I was a teen or young adult, there are some that I enjoyed sharing with my boys over the past year or two.

They include Ferris Beuller's Day Off, Stand By Me, The Outsiders and Groundhog Day. There have been a few Christmas classics that I have shared with them. Now they'd like to do a weekly 'classic movie with mom'...which cracks me up because I really don't know if it's proper to refer to an 80's or 90's movie as 'classic'...but they are to my boys!

So...can you suggest some titles? Many of the movies I loved were girly because of the romance factor or a musical bent (Flashdance, St. Elmo's Fire, Fame) and my boys aren't into that.

They love comedies, so I will try to remember what was the most fun --- perhaps What About Bob, The Breakfast Club, and Mrs. Doubtfire?
