Joe Leone would like to go home. He really would. He doesn't WANT to live like a homeless person but he is determined to get a Covenant House built for homeless teens in our area.

He started out sleeping on the Asbury Park boardwalk in a box, then, when his permit to be on that boardwalk ran out, he took his box and moved it to Point Pleasant Beach, where he has been sleeping on the street in his now-soaking wet refrigerator box.

Joe pledged that he would stay out there and not go home until he raised $50,000 for Covenant House. And now he's pretty close. He's got $43,379. So please stop by and drop some money in his box if you can. He's on Rt. 35 and Arnold Avenue, outside Joe Leone's Italian Specialties store.
