Does Every Thunderstorm Have To Be Monumental This Summer? [POLL]

It seems that every summer there seems to be a thunderstorm in the forecast every day. But this summer seems different, doesn't it? It seems that this summer it can't just be a regular thunderstorm. It has to be monumental.

Last night was just another example of what Monmouth and Ocean counties has been going through all summer. Crazy wind, unbelievable downpours and that nervous feeling you get in your stomach while you hope that your backyard stuff actually stays in your backyard, and nothing important breaks, and of course, that nobody gets hurt.

Is it just me, or has this summer had way more extreme weather than usual? Maybe it's because we had such a mild winter. I knew we'd pay for that!
