This isn't your average grill or pretzel joint.

The growing trend of safe-to-eat cookie dough is spreading across the Jersey Shore. One popular brand is 'Dough Life.' You can find them giving everyone a sugar rush at Freehold Raceway Mall. However, the dough is spreading.

According to APP, Dough Life will be opening up shop on October 12 at Monmouth Mall in Eatontown next to GameStop on the first floor.

We'll also be able to get our dough at Ocean County Mall in Toms River. Look for Dough Life where Nathan's Hot Dogs used to be. It's in the vicinity of the food court and Boscov's. That opening is expected to happen by the end of October.

I know, we were all told as kids that cookie dough is not safe to eat because of the raw egg. And that's true. Dough Life's cookie dough, however, has no egg. How do they do it? They use heat-treated flour that kills bacteria that can be found in regular cookie dough.

How good does espresso with Nutella cookie dough sound? Other flavors include salted caramel, chocolate chip, brownie, Oreo, M&M, mint, red velvet and s'mores.

Pro-tip: have plenty of milk nearby while you indulge.
