FoodBank Of Monmouth And Ocean Counties Offers Tax Preparation Help

The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties does so much to help neighbors in need and now they are offering a way to get free tax preparation and e-filing for low and middle income families in the ares.

According to the FoodBank website,The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) is a free, IRS-sponsored program to help low and middle-income households have their federal and state personal income taxes prepared and filed electronically for free. With tax season here, this could be a critical time for so many around Monmouth and Ocean Counties and the FoodBank knows that, and that is why they want to offer as much help as possible and they are holding several free tax preparation events throughout our area.
