Yes, in a move that seems straight out of Pretty Woman, former high-priced 'lady of the evening' Ashley Dupre has become a businesswoman of sorts, planning to open a lingerie store on Broad St. in downtown Red Bank.

According to Red Bank Green, Dupre, who became infamous in 2008 for her $4,300-a-night "business connections" to former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer, reportedly has signed a lease on a space at 15 Broad St., which formerly housed Lavish Kids -- a children's boutique.

Dupre's store, Femme by Ashley, would offer lingerie and swimsuits, possibly by high-end designers like La Perla and Roberto Cavalli.

The former Wall Township resident has been reportedly seen in Red Bank often lately, and friends of mine have spotted her in recent months in Asbury Park as well.

After her scandalous...escapades...with Spitzer came to light, Dupre posed in Playboy, got her real estate agent's license, and is now writing a sex advice column in the New York Post.

We can at least give her props for attempting to do business legally this time around.

Would you shop at her store?
