The owners of this popular new vegan Mexican restaurant have this message for those not receiving a paycheck due to the partial federal government shutdown.

Here's a message from Eslin and Mahonrry, the wonderful owners of Luna Verde:

"Dear Friends,

With the partial federal government shutdown reaching over four weeks now and affecting the lives of thousands of federal workers and their families in our area, Luna Verde Vegan Mexican Restaurant will be providing dinners (no charge) to those affected by this unresolved situation. Please contact us at (732) 361- 8180 and we'll handle your visit in a discreet way. We'll be happy and honored to serve you and your family."

They ask that you please spread the word so that everyone at the Jersey Shore knows about this!

Eslin and Mahonrry, you are always concerned about the welfare of those less fortunate (check out their menu for other opportunities to help feed the less fortunate) and your quest to make this world a little better for those whose lives you touch. Thank you for your generosity and for bringing incredible, fresh, and delicious vegan food dishes to our area.
