Free Family Fun at Sandy Hook This Sunday

A super fun weekend for your whole family takes place this Saturday at Island Beach State Park in Seaside and Sunday in Sandy Hook!

It's the 15th Annual NJ Natural Gas Ocean Fun Days weekend this Saturday, May 19th, at Island Beach State Park in Seaside Park and Sunday, May 20th, at the NJ Sea Grant Consortium at Sandy Hook, from 11 am - 3 pm, rain or shine.

This is FREE family fun and a chance for adventure and discovery at the Jersey Shore. So bring your entire family and enjoy hands-on exhibits, children's games, workshops and nature tours. And learn from local scientists and researchers how to protect and conserve our coastal resources.

There will be a scavenger hunt, touch tanks, face painting, kid's games and prizes, crab races, eco tours, youth fishing clinics, and a chance to visit the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Marine Lab at Sandy Hook.

Plus so much more, including a chance to win a Jenkinson's Family of Five Fun Pack, so be sure to enter at the NJNG tent at Ocean Fun Days!

Over 50 exhibitors will be on hand, including the Marine Mammal Stranding Center, the NJ Lighthouse Society, and the US Coast Guard Auxiliary.

To GET IN FOR FREE at Sandy Hook this Sunday, mention Ocean Fun Days at the gate, then park ONLY in the Ocean Fun Days' lots.
