We were the first to tell you about the Wall Township babysitter who gave part of her liver to the baby girl that she sat for. Little Talia now has another chance at life thanks to Kiersten, but this precious child's family will need your help to cover the cost of the surgeries and the anti-rejection meds it will take to keep her healthy.

It's a heartwarming story with a happy ending. It's a story of selflessness and giving beyond what most people would do. You can read the complete story that we broke last month of Kiersten Miles from Wall and what led this college student/babysitter to offer part of her liver to help baby Talia (who is now 17 months old) by CLICKING HERE.

The Rosko family of Jackson has taken on thousands in medical expenses to get this organ transplant for their daughter. The cost of both Talia's surgery and Kiersten's surgery for the transplant, along with all of the medicine Talia will need, is over $75,000.

Now you might be able to meet these awesome people on Sunday, March 5th. Friends are holding a fundraiser to help Talia and her family, and you're invited! Talia, her parents, and her siblings plan to be there (although Talia may only be able to be there for a little while depending on what the doctors say.) Kiersten also plans to be there!

The fundraiser takes place on Sunday, March 5th, at 2 pm, at the Jackson Mills Fire Company (465B N. County Line Road.) Tickets are $20 each and include food, a Tricky Tray auction (featuring items you can win like a Louis Vuitton bag, a 48" Vizio TV, Devils tickets and signed puck, Yankee vs. Mets tickets, a free week at International Gymnastics Camp, and more!), Lula Roe merchandise will be available for purchase, Face Painting, a bake sale, and complimentary food and soft drinks for all who attend.

100% of the funds raised will go to the Children's Organ Transplant Association (COTA) in honor of Talia to help with the Rosko family's transplant-related expenses and are tax-deductible.

Tickets are limited so please try to purchase them in advance. They WILL sell tickets at the door if they have not reached capacity by that day, but they don't want to have to turn anyone away. Please contact Tina Lewandowski at 908-377-6311 or Tina@REMN.com.

Also, for the sake of the event planners, here's the link to the Facebook event page. If you can, please click 'going', so they have an estimate of how many to expect.
