Great Jersey Shore Martini Contest Returns on Sunday

Coming up on Sunday, some of the Jersey Shore's best bartenders will put their creativity to work as the Great Jersey Shore Martini Contest returns!

These are not the standard gin or vodka martinis, but rather innovative libations that just so happen to be served in a cocktail glass. To put it simply: they are just damn good drinks.

It's all part of Jersey Shore Restaurant Week, which kicks off today at restaurants all around Monmouth and Ocean Counties. The martini contest takes place at Doolan's Shore Club in Spring Lake this Sunday, November 13th from 1-4 p.m.

You get to sample each of the different cocktails along with some light bites and hors d'oeuvres. Plus, you'll be able to vote for the People's Choice winner!

I get the incredibly tough job of serving as one of the event judges, which honestly is not as easy as it sounds. (I mean, it's unbelievably fun, but it really can be tough to choose a winner!)

Mixologists will be representing lots of Jersey Shore eateries including: 709 Point Beach, Harpoon Willy's, Remington's, Skratch, Shogun, Cross & Orange, and more.

Tickets are $30, and can be purchased HERE. They will also be available at the door on Sunday.
