If you're a teacher, a recent report says you are in just about the most teacher friendly state in the whole country.

A recent study was done by WalletHub, and it turns out the Garden State is nearly the most friendly teacher state in the entire country. As a matter of fact, we rank a very healthy #2.

Average starting salary...3rd

Pupil-teacher ratio...#3

Teacher safety...6th

Quality of school...2nd

Academic and work environment...#1
