We continue our series of stories of haunted places at the Jersey Shore, and today we travel to Point Pleasant.

There are many story about hundreds of haunted places and who knows how much truth is behind them, but either way Halloween season is a great time to talk about them. So today's haunted place?

We dug up a story at funnewjersey.com that says the Shore House in Point Pleasant has it's share of ghosts. Apparently, the Shore House was once a hotel, and even a brothel, but the ghosts may come from the fact that the Shore House was once used as a morgue.

The story says that after a shipwreck off Mantoloking in 1846, the building that is now the Shore House was used as a temporary morgue, and as the story goes, the ghosts enjoy their time in the attic of the building until this day. They even still mess with the staff on occasion.

There are plenty of stories floating around the Jersey Shore and we'll bring as many of them as we can over the next few weeks.

Hey Halloween lovers, don't miss The Glow!
