Kick Cancer Overboard is a non-profit that gives cruises to people with cancer. They have a couple of big events coming up around Monmouth and Ocean Counties and could use some volunteers.

In 7 years, Kick Cancer Overboard has given 225 cruises to NJ families in order for them to enjoy a well-deserved break by sending them to Bermuda aboard Royal Caribbean's Anthem of the Seas.

Right now 10-year old Cookie is packing to go on a cruise rather than preparing to go to the hospital. So wonderful!!!

Volunteers have come to love the happy tears they see (and feel) when Kick Cancer Overboard presents a free cruise to these deserving families.

Anyone can volunteer to help at some of the fundraising events that will get a cancer victim a cruise.!

Kick Cancer Overboard needs volunteers for this Friday evening and Saturday morning, April 21st and 22nd for Runapalooza, and at the Expo at Monmouth Park on Friday and Saturday April 28th and 29th, and at Pier Village that Sunday morning, and they need volunteers to help at water stations during the NJ Marathon on Sunday morning, April 30th at various water stations in Oceanport and Long Branch from 5:45 am - 10:45 am and other shifts lasting until 3 pm.

So if you have a little time on your hands and would like to volunteer to help make a big difference in somebody else's life, please call 732-571-1960 or email kickit@kickcanceroverboard.org.

The wonderful people involved in Kick Cancer Overboard give these cancer victims balcony cabins, all expenses paid, just so they can get away from the suffering and focus, for a change, on something wonderful.
