Hotel/Shops/Condo Complex Proposed for Manasquan Circle
Remember Peddler's Village and Circle Factory Outlet? Well don't expect that again.
We finally have some concrete idea (no pun intended) of what may be coming to the Manasquan Circle to replace the ghost-town of stores that has sat empty for so long now. It may not be what you hoped for. Here's the plan:
It's called The Shore and it reminds me of a Pier Village-style place with shops and restaurants planned at the street level, and condos above. But this one will also have a boutique hotel...plus a really cool rooftop deck.
Considering how barren and weed-infested the vacant lot is, at least once this 22-acres is finished it will look beautiful.
The property owner, who is a long-time Jersey Shore resident, just wants to do good and leave his mark by creating something amazing where nothing exists. I mean, what could be worse than watching this spot sit empty? The Wall//Manasquan area is such a vibrant place...why not add to it?
The plan for The Shore is to provide numerous boutiques, shops, restaurants, cafès, and other retail opportunities. It will feature a full-service hotel and conference center, with access to a rooftop recreation facility featuring a pool, lawn, patio and bar.
Another draw for this location is the direct access to downtown Manasquan, the beach, Allaire State Park and the Wall Township Municipal Complex and Community Park via the Edgar Felix Memorial Bicycle Path which runs directly behind this property.
It is expected that The Shore will appeal to residents ranging from young professionals to homeowners who want a second, seasonal home near the beach.
