As a matter of fact, after reviewing 14 key metrics, New Jersey does not make the top 10, ranking 14th on the list. Oneof the metrics included "Resources for Businesses to Better Cope with COVID  (we came in at #8).

And in the category "Highly Affected Industries & Workforce" category, coming in at #28. Overall, with the way the state was impacted by the virus, the #14 ranking may come as a bit of a surprise.

But rest assured, the statistics have been staggering and jaw-dropping, and there has been a lot of financial pain for local workers and local business owners due to the pandemic.

There are some alarming rankings in this study as well. For example, New Jersey is tied with Alaska and Rhode Island for the state least prepared for the digital economy. We also ranked 49th for Best work From Home Infrastructure.
