Is This Cold Spell A Sign Of Things To Come?

It's too early for cold weather to be in the headlines, but it is. I thought vortex was a January thing.

Let's be honest. We know how to handle this. Sure, it's early, but we can handle the cold. I think the real issue here is our concern that the November cold spell might be a bad sign for the upcoming winter, and according to some forecasters, it may be just that.

It's totally understandable for residents of the Jersey Shore to cringe at the thought of extreme weather. So, while we have no problem handling the upcoming week or so, it doesn't mean we have to like it, and it doesn't mean we have to like what it might represent for our upcoming January or February.

In the meantime, we bundle up a bit, drive carefully and get through it. That's what we do. And we also hope the predictions of a long, tough winter are wrong. That's what we do too.
