Jenks in the Winter

Who says you can't have fun on the boardwalk in February?

Last Friday night, in the cold and dark of a winter's night, the boys and I bundled up and took a nice, peaceful stroll down the boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach.

The moon was shining beautifully over the ocean, (we even ran around in the sand for a little bit!) there were no tourists being loud, and we had the best time when we got to Jenkinson's.

Because, you see, you can enjoy a taste of the Jersey Shore in the dead of winter and without all the out-of-state crowds right now!

The boys and I had a great time at Jenkinson's Aquarium (we can never get enough of the penguins, sharks, etc.!), Jenkinson's Sweet Shoppe (my boys love the fudge but I went crazy over the chocolate-covered strawberries!), the arcade, and, of course, Jenkinson's pizza!

It was a little taste of summer in the dead of winter and it was such a warm and fuzzy night despite the cold!
