Retailers are dropping like flies at the Jersey Shore so hold the receipt to your favorite location near and dear because it doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon.

The clothing retailer, Bon-Ton that is located in the Brick Plaza shopping center filed for bankruptcy and announced that they will be closing in 10 to 12 weeks.

Bon-Ton, which also has other stores in New York and Philadelphia, revealed that a major part of their closing has to do with a massive amount of the competition going to Amazon.

Sound familiar? There is already quite a few vacant locations that need to be filled at the Jersey Shore! I guess the only question left to ask is who is brave enough to give it a shot?

Maybe shop at your favorite spot now because who knows when they will be next!
