I had the great honor of emceeing the Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey gala this past Friday night and it was a wonderful event for a great organization.

So, I wanted to give you some background about this group and also some details on how you can help.Their mission is to "provide vital assistance to the elderly, elderly disabled, veterans, and those who care for them". Their goal is to "enable individuals to remain independent and to allow them to live with dignity and joy".

They are an interfaith non-profit agency with over 1200 volunteers who provide support to help the home bound elderly remain independent and in their own homes as long as possible.

Their programs include Veterans to Veterans, Respite Care, Medical Transportation, Caregivers Canines and much more. So how can you help make a difference and get involved?

There are two great ways you can help. The first thing you should do is get on the Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey website. You will find out details on how you can make a donation to this great cause, or you can donate your time by volunteering,

It was great seeing all the wonderful people making a difference at Friday night's event.Thank you for all you do.
