Man Climbs Submerged Seaside Roller Coaster [PHOTO]

Earlier this morning, a man climbed the partially submerged Jet Star.

Equipped with an American flag, a man reached the top of the Jet Star Roller Coaster and refused to come down. Rescue and dive teams from several towns were called to assist in the situation.

Twitter user lucy bent (@lucyybentt10) tweeted: "There is someone on top of the roller coaster in seaside heights waving an American flag.. #idiot."

Twitter user LoverBoyGenius (@Harrisonnnn) tweeted: "A guy is standing on the Jet Star rollercoaster in Seaside and hellicopters are out there trying to get him lmao."

News 12 reports the subject is now in custody.
