What happened?

Sunday, during the Belmar parade, it started warming up once the sun came out.  Then Monday, some places saw the mid-70s.

I actually, before coming into work, stopped at the beach.  Do you know what I noticed?  I could smell the sea air.  My nose wasn't freezing off of my face.

Then, boom, here we are with cold temperatures, snowing on and off, and cold rain.

Bone-chilling again.

This is something we come to expect this time of year.

At least we didn't experience what North Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania did today.  Full-on snowstorm.  Nope, we are over that.

When it was 70 degrees on Monday I wasn’t able to sit still. It was one of those days when I walked up to lunch.  Then hopped in the car, windows down to grab a coffee.

Can't you tell?  I'm so excited for spring and summer to get here, to get back out on the beach, to get away from this piercing cold weather.

I felt the same way a few weeks ago when we had warm temperatures.

The number one thing I want to do when it gets warm out is it outdoors. I found a ton of places throughout Ocean County and it got me thinking, if Ocean County has some great locations, Monmouth County absolutely has places that you can enjoy during spring and summer.
