Monmouth County Town Named Among Best Small Art Towns In America

There is nothing better that when one of our local towns gets an honor, and when that honor puts that town among the best in the country, it's even better. So when we heard that a Monmouth County town was named among the Best Small Art Towns in America, we thought that was really cool, and we couldn't wait to share it with you.

I think it's  safe to say that if you were going to guess which Monmouth County town got this distinction, two great towns might come to your mind. They immediately came to mine, and even though New Jersey had two towns represented on this list, only one of those Monmouth County towns made it.

I immediately thought of Asbury Park and Red Bank, the homes of Paramount Theater and The Basie Center for the Arts respectively. And one of them did make the list published by Americans For The Arts..

So a huge congratulations goes out to the great town of Red Bank for this really nice honor. It's an awesome town for so many reasons, and one of the biggest is the great focus Red Bank places on the arts, and how steeped in arts history it really is. After all, the Basie has been around for 95 years.

We also love Asbury Park for the amazing culture in town as well. We are very fortunate to have these two important towns in our backyard.

For the record, the other New Jersey town listed in the Top 100 was Lambertville, another great choice and an awesome town for the arts. Congratulations to all!
