Study Says New Jersey Is Among America’s Least Friendly States
This is going to be the least shocking news you hear all day. New Jersey is not among America's most friendly states.
Anyone who has spent a minute in the Garden State knows that politeness isn't always on the top of our daily to-do lists, and the statistics fully back up that point.
It turns out that not only does New Jersey not appear among the most friendly state in the nation, but we are also very close to being the least friendly state in the country.
The results of the study were reported by World Population Review, and they weren't exactly friendly results for the Garden State.
There were studies that were reviewed, and even things like tipping generosity were apparently included in their conclusions. So just how bad did New Jersey do?
It turns out that New Jersey is the 46th friendliest state in the nation, meaning we are in the top 5 unfriendliest states in America. I don't know about you, but that makes me want to give somebody the finger. Maybe that's part of the problem.
Now it's time to stick up for all of us here in the Garden State. We deal with ridiculous traffic, unbelievably high prices and more congestion than Mucinex can handle, so maybe you can cut us a little slack, right?
The places that bring us the most stress, at least in my opinion are the roads, the office, and those supermarket parking lots I know that the last one is a little weird, but you know as well as I do that some of the worst examples of driving happen in New Jersey supermarket parking lots.
In conclusion, I think that New Jersey has every right to be unfriendly, but through it all, I think we're super friendly, all things considered.
