New Jersey Well Represented On Greatest Singers List
Being included in a 'best singers of all time' list is a pretty huge honor, and New Jersey is well represented in a list recently released.
It's a big job to name the greatest singer of all time and ask.com has taken on the task and if you love New Jersey music, you can't help but be happy with these results. Although I thought there was one glaring omission.
Let's talk about the good news first. Here are some legendary Garden State singers and where they landed in this top 30.
Bruce Springsteen #22
Whitney Houston #15
Frank Sinatra #3
Rounding out the top three was Aretha Franklin at #2 and the top spot on the list was Freddie Mercury, and those are great choices.
I did think there was room on this list for a New Jersey rocker whose voice is behind one of the most successful rock bands of all time, but Jon Bon Jovi didn't make the list. But I guess any list that lists Elvis Presley at #18 is a tough one to crack.
