New Jersey’s Most Beloved Ice Cream Flavor Is Revealed
It is so hot this week that it is almost unbearable. When a New Jersey heatwave strikes we all scream for ice cream. But what flavor are we screaming for?
Everyone has a favorite ice cream flavor, and there has never been a better time to discuss ice cream and our favorite flavors than this week.
You can call me boring, but I will always go with good old chocolate. If that's not fancy enough for you, make it double chocolate, or a chocolate chip of a double fudge. just keep the mint out of my ice cream. I'll save the mint for my mouthwash.
Other states have favorite flavors like Rocky Road (California and Nevada), Cookie Dough (Maryland), and Rainbow Sherbet (Arkansas), according to Kitchn.
For the record, not one state has chocolate as its favorite flavor. I think there needs to be an investigation. similarly, no state chose vanilla as their favorite either, although Moose Tracks was the favorite flavor in a dozen states.
That brings us to today's question. What is New Jersey's favorite ice cream flavor? Mint chocolate chip (ugh) is a popular guess, but that's not it.
It turns out the top ice cream flavor in the Garden State is also the most popular one in two other area states. Apparently, New Jersey screams for pistachio.
What? I can't remember the last time I had pistachio ice cream. Am I missing out on this one? I guess I am. The data doesn't lie.
